The Space

Seccatoio is an independent house with a surface of 60 m2 in the middle of a wonderful landscape. The house can host 2-4 persons. It has a bedroom on the first floor and a bathroom, kitchen and living on the ground floor. Outside, at the back of the house a shaded terrace under a pergola, in the front another terrace. The house has a breathtaking view on Santa Fiora and Monte Amiata. In winter the house is heated with gas. This old “drying house” sits on a crest surrounded by ancient chestnut trees. In the old days, it was here that the chestnuts were dried to make the flour which comprised the principal nourishment for the local inhabitants.
